dublin knit and stitch

wow, back from Dublin, what a great city it is. spent a happy evening down in temple bar listening to live music. there is nowhere like this area for live music, particularly Irish tunes. there is no way you can listen without  dancing in your heart if not on the floor.

The show was of course very friendly and I was entertained by the Irish sense of humour all weekend. the only down side was that the hall was freezing most of the time

Our stand was bigger than at Ally Pally

the Dublin Art College display was facing our gallery and this was a real eye catcher, I spent some time, with the help of Ruth Issett, trying to remember how to knot the macrame bands displayed here. the young students know them as caterpillar bands now.

another great show.

We have an even bigger stand at Harrogate which starts on Thursday 21st November, and you will find me right in the front entrance of the textile gallery. I think thermals will be the order of the day!  So,  only another couple of weeks and I will be off again. please pop in and see me if you are there. Harrogate is a great city, just before Christmas, the shops are pretty good too, and there is a Christmas Market across the road from the halls

See you there!
